Effective in all cases?

The TGA’s Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code 4.2.h says: ‘An advertisement for therapeutic goods must not contain any claim, statement or implication that it is effective in all cases of a condition.’ Mr Sam Cohen of IHRB says that he has helped thousands of men, women and children with every conceivable type of hair-loss problem. We can see that he dishes out media releases which say just that. Note that the following two images are from two different advertorials. The one on the left dates back to 6 October 2004 from ‘The Wentworth Courier’. The one on the right is from 11 March 2005 from ‘Spectator Newspaper’. It is obvious that the copy comes from IHRB. No two journalists from two different papers can construct identical phrases in such a co-incidental fashion.

[UPDATE: New Sanctions in November 2011 found IHRB’s ads unlawful and misleading. Read the latest by clicking here [1].]

Mr Sam Cohen also says that he can help those who have tried everything. And those who have had no success, MUST check out his program which he says offers guaranteed results.
